These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the provision of music tuition services by K Tsang trading as Muxicology ("Muxicology", "we", "us", "our"). By enrolling a Student for our services, you, the Client, agree to be bound by this Agreement. Please read it carefully.
2.1. Muxicology provides high-quality instrumental and vocal music tuition. All lessons are conducted on the premises of a Partner School and take place exclusively during the official school term time, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2.2. The Service is provided directly to the Client (the Parent). The Partner School acts as a host venue and is not a party to this Agreement. All contractual obligations are between Muxicology and the Client.
3.1. Lesson fees are as advertised on our website or as communicated in writing at the time of enrolment. We reserve the right to amend our fees with a minimum of one month's written notice.
3.2. All payments for lessons are the direct responsibility of the Client. Payment must be made in advance for a block of lessons (e.g., a term or half-term), as specified on the invoice. The school is not responsible for collecting or processing any fees on our behalf.
3.3. Invoices will be sent directly to the Client via email. Payment is due upon receipt and must be settled before the first lesson of the invoiced block commences.
3.4. Payments shall be made via bank transfer or another direct payment method as specified on the invoice. We do not accept cash or payments via the Partner School.
4.1. Client Cancellation: If a Student is unable to attend a scheduled lesson, the Client must notify Muxicology directly (not the school) with a minimum of 48 hours' notice. If such notice is provided, we will issue a credit for the missed lesson to be used against a future invoice. If less than 48 hours' notice is given, the lesson will be charged at the full rate, and no credit or refund will be offered.
4.2. Tutor Absence: In the rare event that a Tutor is unable to conduct a lesson, we will provide as much notice as possible and will arrange for a credit for that lesson to be applied to your next invoice.
4.3. School Closures: No lessons will take place on school inset days, bank holidays, or during unforeseen school closures (e.g., due to adverse weather). Any lessons cancelled as a result of such closures will be credited to the Client's account.
5.1. The Client is responsible for ensuring the Student attends lessons on time, as per the schedule agreed with Muxicology and the Partner School.
5.2. The Student is expected to arrive at the designated teaching location within the Partner School with all necessary materials (e.g., instrument, sheet music).
5.3. The Student must adhere to the Partner School's code of conduct and any rules regarding movement within the school premises during lesson times.
6.1. While our Tutors exercise all reasonable care and skill, Muxicology cannot be held liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by the Student during a lesson, unless caused by the proven negligence of our Tutor.
6.2. Muxicology is not responsible for any damage to or loss of instruments or personal property belonging to the Student on the Partner School's premises.

Muxicology is fully committed to the safeguarding of children. All our Tutors undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and are trained in our comprehensive safeguarding policies, which are designed to ensure a safe learning environment within our Partner Schools. 9.1. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Client and Muxicology regarding the provision of music tuition.
9.2. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website, and we will notify Clients of any significant changes.
9.3. This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising from it will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
